Cover Dragons   Captain's Daughter   Shootout

It is 1898. Science would not discover the Komodo Dragons in the East Indies for another 8 years, but Robert found them, or something like them, but fiercer—and much hungrier! And then—

He has a few more worries, such as pirates, rebels, a cruel prince, and an old missionary who has lost his way—and his greatest worry of all, a beautiful and fragile island girl.

His hair-raising adventures and perils transform Robert from a naive and innocent youth into a seasoned fighter. He gets over the pirates, the shark infested seas, the dark jungles with their poisonous and ferocious denizens, the murderous pirates and soldiers-of-fortune, the treacherous authorities, even the corrupt old missionary, but he will never get over the girl who is his first love.

You can find Good and Evil on the Island of Dragons at Amazon and most online book retailers, or order it through your local bookstore. The Kindle version is available at Amazon.

Shootout in Show Low and Nine Other Short Plays is an eclectic collection of plays on a wide variety of themes ranging from the slapstick title play, to a con-man in the old west, an old lady who claims to be the fair Iseult, the beloved of Tristram, a woman who holds the power of life and death and doesn't know if she should use it, and an old lady with a somewhat macabre sense of humor.

They are joined by an overwrought young woman who accuses the state legislators of being the spawn of an incubus, maybe metaphorically. When Biblical King David allowed the bodies of her two sons, and seven others, to be left unburied upon the mountains, a woman stands guard over them, in a ritual similar to a famous Greek play written many centuries later. As you can see, these plays are lots of fun.

They are also available in paperback and for Amazon Kindle.
